As part of her presentation, she spoke about the opportunities available to her in broadcasting, as well as her experiences and accomplishments as a co-anchor at WGXA TV. | |||

Administered by Dorrie Farlee, Business Manager, and Celeste Smith, Assignment Editor, of WGXA TV. | Administered corporate internship program at the local level for college students interested in acquiring skills needed for broadcast employment. During the reporting period of 12/1/03 - 11/30/04, 22 college interns participated in the program. | |||
| 8 | WGXA Targeted Training Program, Macon, GA September - November, 2004. Initiated by Dorrie Farlee, Business Manager, conducted by Heidi Jo Nobles, Sales Service Coordinator. | Implemented a targeted training program designed to enable station employees to acquire new or advanced skills which could qualify them for higher level positions. Two General & Administrative assistants and one Sales assistant participated in an in-house training program conducted by the station's Sales Service Coordinator. The participants received on-the-job cross training in other positions at the station. | |||
